A Beautiful Wedding

Hi Dolls,

So I previously blogged about a hen party I went to for a dear friend of mine so I'm going to share the wedding day itself.

On July 28th, in a breezy but sunny Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, our dear friends Caroline and John walked down the isle and were married. The church was beautifully decorated and the little touches really made the difference.

On arrival to the church this was
on a little table inside the door

Theo, the couple's son, carried the sign down the aisle
The groom and groomsmen stood waiting nervously and excited at the top of the alter for the bridal party to arrive. Fashionably late, the bride walked down the isle after her lovely bridesmaids (wearing fuchsia pink dresses from Love Cherish), ring bearer, paige boy and flower girl, had in hand with her dad. I won't lie I got emotional seeing my friend in her stunning white dress finally walking down the aisle to marry the man of her dreams!

The ceremony was beautiful and went very smoothly. After the I Do's and signing the registry all the guests went outside to meet the happy couple and throw confetti as they exited the church.

After a few photo graphs we all headed for the Reception venue, the Bunratty Castle Hotel. The Bride, Groom, Groomsmen and Bridesmaids all went to the castle itself for photo's with the photographer

We were greeted with a lovely drinks reception and finger food on arrival to the hotel as well as a mirror reflecting the seating plan. We all grabbed a drink and got mingling!

The bell rang and all the guests made there way to the reception room which was beautifully decorated. They had a frame on the way in where you write your name on a little wooden heart and drop it inside the frame. Caroline and her sisters decorated jars with glitter and used them as candle holding centre pieces which looked lovely - a nice touch of DIY. Each table was named after a section of the Old Trafford Stadium (as John's a big Man. Utd. fan). It was definitely the little touches that added massively throughout the day.

The food was nice and in between courses came the speeches which were entertaining and heart warming.

The night went very smoothly from food into dancing. We had a great time. We stayed in the hotel that night to avoid driving home too late and too tired. We had such a lovely night dancing and chatting to other guests.

Us with the happy couple
I couldn't be happier for them. They are finally married ;)

Lots of Love
