My first tattoo!!

♥ Decisions, Decisions ♥
When it comes to needles I run a mile...... but at the idea of getting inked is frightfully awesome! I have wanted a tattoo for AGES... but like many people the actual thing you want tattooed is always the thing that stops you getting for AGES (years for me).
OK, so I want to get a bow tattoo because I think there really feminine, girly and perfect thing for me to get done :) I love this first picture because it is realistic and cute looking :)
This second image is also a place where I'd love to get a bow tattoo but not necessarily the same as the picture but on my wrist! The main thing that turns me off is I know it would HURT sooooooo bad but then again, all tattoos hurt!
I wanted this as a tattoo but with pink instead of the purple around my ankle like the image below (with the cross) except I heard a girl got one similar on her ankle and it hurt more than any other place on the body because of the bones etc. So I got TOTALLY turned off that idea, but Im considering getting a star tattoo on my foot! haha.

Anyone have tattoo's on there ankle/ foot/ wrist or back of neck? Does it hurt more in these places? If you know please let me know! haha. Any info would be handy, thanks.

None of these pictures are of my tattoo... these are just some inspirational pics I found online!

Lots of hugs xxxxxxxxxxx

UPDATE: Check out my first tattoo here!!

    1. Ya it's so nice :) I chickened out of the idea of getting anything done on my ankle... the bone freaks me out and having a needle near it would make me sick :O

  5. i have a tattoo on my ankle and on the back of the neck. honestly, back of the neck was nothing. ankle hurt a lot but i find the worst thing about getting a tattoo is actually sitting and waiting for them to call you in, waiting for them to put the stencil on and waiting for them to JUST START once you are sitting there, actually being inked, I really don't think it's that bad. it's just the lead up.

and just remember, its totally worth a few minutes pain for a lifetime of an awesome tattoo :)

my advice would be, definitely dont pick the location of your tattoo based on where you think it'll hurt less. base it on where it will look best because like i said the pain goes away, the tattoo doesnt.

good luck! i love the designs your thinking about xox

    1. Cool :) Nice advice! I got it done on the back of my neck. I'm not body confident at all so choosing a place was really important to me! I'm so happy with how it looks and where it is even though i can't see it all the time! :)

    1. My friend was training to be a tattoo artist when i got mine done so she was no help as she didn't have many tattoo's on her to know from experience the pain!

Ya I heard ankle and foot is very painful! I got my tattoo on the back of my neck! Thinking of getting my second one on my wrist but not so sure on place yet! :)

I know ribs hurt a lot but it'd be nice to have one there!! :)

  7. Ive got a bow tattoo around my ankle then it goes down onto my foot. i'm not going to lie to you, it did hurt more than my other tattoo's. (back and hip) but it hurt more afterwards as my foot swelled up for 3 days and i couldnt walk on it. The pain was worth it though.... i LOVE my tattoo. dont let the pain put you off. x x

    1. Thanks for your comment :) For my first tattoo the pain side did turn me off a little but didn't let it influence me completely!

I was in a tattoo parlour with my mom about a year ago and heard the artist tell his client to get out of bed slowly in the morning as blood rushed to your foot and the tattoo will hurt more first thing in the morning! :)

  8. i have a tattoo on my foot and back and they were both the same amount of pain you just have to deal with it and it will be over before you know it. if you think about the pain and actually get it done the pain isnt as bad as you think i have 5 tattoos they all hurt but they were all worth it.

  9. My friend chose a tattoo that says, my wings my gravity. She decided to have that after her father's death.

It reminds her how the father reminds her over again to dream high but keep her feet back on the ground.
