X Factor: Live Show 4

Hey Everyone :)

So I didn't see much of the show last night due to it being Halloween and all. But I got to see all the performances!

This week was ROCK week, the first rock week of the contest. Great news for both Jamie and Simon, Cheryl openly stated that it was a "coincidence" that Simon had a rock singer in his group and then there was rock week!

First up was Joe McElderry, he sang "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. He did a great job concidering he has such a toned voice and had to completely change to suit rock. Next up is my favourite to win, Lucie Jones, she sang "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns and Roses. She was a huge success this week, Simon apolagised for his harsh comment the previous week and she was commented on how versatile she is. She rocked the stage!
Next is my least favourite is Danyl Johnson, he did a very POOR performance! He sang "I Don't want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith. He stared at the camera with 'come pity me' eyes and looked all 'down', just like what the judges said he lost his mojo and as Cheryl said he has no excuse if Rachel could do it as a young girl then clearly a grown man in his 30's could stay strong! He's up for the final 2 I think. After Danyl came Cheryl's youngest Lloyd Daniels sang a male version of Katy Perry's "I kissed a girl". This was a pop song so Louis felt the need to point out it wasn't within the rules to sing that song on Rock night. He did a good job especially having crotch grabbing women kissing him all over!
Stacey Soloman's up next with "Somewhere only we know" by Keane. She did a fantastic job 2. The girls really pulled the rock image out of the bag. She was amazing, and she walked! Ha! The 'Rock god' himself, Jamie Archer was up next. He wasn't that great concidering this should have been his week of glory. He sang "Get your rocks off" by Primal Scream. It wasn't the best from Jamie. He set the bar high with his first audition though. Next up is Rachel Adedeji. She sang One by U2. She was ok, not her strongest. I don't think changing her image to look softer is the best thing. She should stay herself and not show the public that she'd change her image to suit other people!
Almost to the end is... Jedward, Irish twins John and Edward! The public have gone mad for these boys. They performed "We will rock you" by Five. They dyed part of their hair black and really went all out for the halloween goth look. They sang it quite well, they messed up at one part and they went out of pitch at times but they did something different tonight. And last but not least comes shiny boy Olly Murs, he sang "Come Togther" by Aerosmith (originally the Beatles). He did a great job and rocked my socks! He showed he could pull off a different style than his comfort zone.

Lots of Love xoxo
